Warehouse
Our warehousing program is central to our strategy. UPA assists both the member and manufacturer in achieving their goals of market penetration, lower costs, and increased profitability. One of the ways we accomplish this objective is through our state of the art logistics management to help streamline the supply chain. Our system enables us to move product to the wholesale distribution community in an extremely efficient and cost effective manner. UPA has 6 strategically located distribution facilities throughout the United States. We call our system "Smart Procurement". This system is one of the many benefits that allows our members to free up working capital by reducing the amount of inventory they carry in specific product categories. The UPA warehouse program gives us the ability to purchase products for our members, and hold the product until they need it. This system inevitably reduces costs for the manufacturer as well as maintaining the market share that they have worked so hard to achieve. The UPA warehouse system also allows us to maintain a "no minimums" policy which lets the member buy any quantity, any time.
Within the UPA framework, our system helps the participating manufacturer gain significant benefits through central distribution or on a drop ship basis. Whatever the vehicle, UPA manufacturers and members benefit by participating within the UPA framework. It's just that simple.
